Your pet will be individually exercised four times a day in a large secure fenced area. The kennel is equipped with private indoor/outdoor runs. The doors to these runs are opened to allow your pet to have free access to either section during warm weather. All access to the outside is closed at night for the safety of your pet or during cold weather. All runs are monitored regularly and cleaned as needed. The kennel is heated in cold weather and cooled in the summer.
Kennel runs are built with three-foot high masonry partitions to reduce the stress that some pets experience during kenneling. Sleeping areas are provided with a fiberglass resting bench. You may furnish your own blanket or bed for your pet. You are free to bring any special toys or rawhides that your pet likes to play with. Background music is provided in the sleeping areas for your pet’s enjoyment.
Most pets do better maintaining the same diet that they have at home. Please bring your dog food in a closed marked container or ziploc bag to maintain its freshness. Purina dog food will be fed to your pet if you do not decide to furnish your own food.
Please make sure all prescriptions are marked appropriately as to proper dosage if your pet is on any medications. No injections will be administered.
Emergencies occur on rare occasions. In the case of an emergency, your pet will be taken to the closest vet and your vet will be notified by phone for any needed assistance. The pet owner will be responsible for all vet bills, as well as for reimbursement for travel expenses.
All inoculations must be current and a copy of your shot record provided at the time of your pet’s arrival at the kennel. Inoculations are required for rabies, bordetella and DHLP. There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy.
All attempts will be made to provide the very best care for your pet. We hope to make your pet’s stay a comfortable and pleasant experience.
